Join us for an exciting night of music making and community as we examine two essential themes surrounding the Thanksgiving holiday: Gratitude and Gluttony. This concert will feature selections from great choral-orchestral works including Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana” and Haydn’s “The Seasons,” as well as additional contemporary works. Canned-food donations for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona will be collected at the performance. The University Community Chorus is under the direction of Dr. Alyssa Cossey, and this year the assistant conductor is graduate choral conducting student Nicky Manlove.
