“La Frontera: Visions of a World Without Borders,” and takes its inspiration from Chicana feminist activist Gloria Anzaldúa’s seminal text “Borderlands/La Frontera: The New Mestiza.” By first recalling indigenous relationships to land and musical rituals, “La Frontera” moves through the contemporary reality of border violence and concludes with a vision of hope and solidarity for a world without borders.
